Little Bird is a very personal song for Luke. It describes a small held captive by fear in it’s small nest. It looks out into the world wondering what might happen if it jumped and spread its wings. Would its wings fail would it spiral into the dirt? Or, would it fly.

Luke’s fear kept his world very small throughout most of his life. More than anything he wants to play music on stage. But, fear held him back. Nearly a decade ago, Luke spread his own wings and jumped. And, it’s been one jump after another.

Flaotin’ is a VIBE! Luke weaves together several mind-bending philosophical musings and lets them groove on the rhythm that underscores the melodies. He notes the insanity and unlikelihood of human existence – a random of collection space rocks, expanding into the cosmos yielding a conscious experience.

Then, the self-importance of humanity! It’s as though the universe revolves around little old us. Luke quips, “the human race, is jus a phase and I’m glad I’m here with you, stargazing”.

Luke explores the meaning of it all. Maybe it’s just simply to be here to enjoy one another. “flaotin’ here with you…”
